We are the 1st series stop for the 2019 North American High School Championship Series (NAHS7’s) which will feature some of the best high school rugby academies in North America. Tropical 7’s was conceived with the aim of providing competitive international youth rugby 7’s (boys & girls), played under ‘professional’ conditions in a world-renowned tourism destination.

Our tournament has grown quickly in a short space of time to become one of the leading international youth rugby events in the world and has already attracted teams from Canada, England, Africa, Mexico, the Caribbean as well as from across the US.

We are looking to extend the tournament’s footprint and welcome aspiring youth teams at all levels from around the world! We encourage teams to arrive early and experience the different rugby activities we offer as well as enjoy the well-known attractions of Orlando and Central Florida:

A unique international 7s tournament providing a great opportunity to compete against some of the best youth teams from North America and from around the world. We are officially sanctioned by USA Rugby.

Excellent conditions for competitive rugby 7s: warm weather, professionally maintained fields, fully qualified and experienced referees, accommodation conveniently located on-site.

A ‘World Class’ resort: the Omni Orlando Resort offers an extensive range of leisure facilities and the convenience of having match/practice fields all in a single location – great for coaches, team managers, parents as well as the players.

Establish a training camp: Participating teams can access the pitches for training sessions/coaching sessions with our resident international coaches, player entry into our athlete combine and we can also facilitate practice scrimmages against other teams in the days leading up to the tournament.

A great rugby tour destination: Conveniently located the heart of Orlando’s tourism area, we can provide opportunities to attend professional sports matches in Orlando and obtain discounted tickets to some of Orlando’s famous theme parks to keep teams entertained off the field.
