  • Achievements: Full Rugby coaching CV available on request; I played rugby since the age of 4. I played provincial rugby at school level, after school I played professional for a number of years. Playing teams include Pumas, Tuks, SWD Eagles, Blue Bulls training sqaud (Currie cup in South Africa) I have a degree in Human Movement Sciences (Biokinetics) and have been coaching since I left school at 18 years old. I have 16 years coaching experience at all levels, from u/9 to u/19 school, provincial and national school level, junior club, senior club 1st 2nd and 3rd division, universities and senior provincial. I’m am currently working at HS Sentraal in Bloemfontein, South Africa where I am the Director of rugby. Sentraal is one of the top rugby schools in the Free State, and one of the top 50 rugby schools in SA, working towards a top 10 place. I’m the head coach of the u/19 1st xv as well as the u/14 squad. I manage, organize and coordinate the rugby program. This includes running the gym sessions for all rugby groups, developing coaches, developing player skills and grooming the culture and philosophy “To forecast rain does not count, to build arcs, that counts” At the same time I also assist the Uganda national Coach for the RWC 2019 qualifiers. The team competes in the Rugby Africa Gold Cup 2018 against Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Kenya, Namibia and Morocco for a spot at the 2019 World Cup in Japan. I assist them with strategic planning and technical coaching to enhance the performance of their individual players as well as the team performance in the qualifiers.

  • What I am looking for: I am one of 15 SA Rugby coaches who completed the World rugby level 3 accreditation in November 2018 I am also currently working for Rugby15 as an analyst and journalist, covering rugby matches with live commentary, match analysis, match reports and articles. We cover all the top leagues in world rugby, from Vodacom Cup through to the World Cup, including Japanese and European leagues. I am the head coach at RVS coaching, through which I do professional rugby coaching on a consultation basis, player clinics, coaching workshops with coaches, focus on specific areas of the game, or whatever it is that my services are rendered for.
